That's right. According to a report by Bloomberg, Instagram is testing a text-based app that will compete with Twitter.

The app, which is codenamed "Coral," is still in its early stages of development,

but it is reportedly being tested with a small group of influencers and creators.

Coral is said to be a decentralized app, which means that it will not be controlled by Meta.

This could make it more attractive to users who are concerned about the privacy and security of their data.

Instagram is a photo and video sharing social media platform that was launched in 2010 by Kevin Systrom.

The app allows users to take photos and videos, apply filters, and share them with their followers.

Twitter is a microblogging and social networking service on which users post and interact with messages known as "tweets."

Registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them.
