Montana has banned TikTok. On May 17, 2023, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte 

signed a bill into law that bans the use of TikTok in the state. 

The ban is scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2024. 

Montana is a state in the western United States. 

It is bordered by Canada to the north, North Dakota and South Dakota to the east, Wyoming to the south, and Idaho to the west.  

Montana is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, wolves, elk, and bison. 

TikTok is a social media app that allows users to create and share short videos. 

The app has been downloaded over 2 billion times and is used by people all over the world. 

TikTok is particularly popular among young people, and it has been credited with  

helping to launch the careers of many new celebrities.
